Getting to Bath
From Bristol Airport:
Bristol International Airport is 20 miles from Bath.
Taxis: Airport passengers can travel to Bath by taxi or public transport. A 24 hour taxi service is run by Checker Cabs. Taxis can be pre-booked online or by calling to the Checkers Cabs office just outside the terminal building on arrival. Taxis hired on arrival must be paid for in cash. In April 2011, Checker Cabs quote a fare of £45 for the journey from Bristol International Airport to Bath.
Bus and Train: An airport coach service, Bristol International Flyer, picks up passengers outside the airport up to 4 times an hour from 03.05 to 23.45, 7 days a week. Passengers should alight at Bristol Temple Meads train station, to catch one of the many frequent train services into Bath. A combined ticket for the Bristol International Flyer and train to Bath can be purchased online at www.fgwtickets.co.uk. Or, separate tickets can be purchased on the day aboard the Bristol International Flyer for coach ticket and at Bristol Temple Meads train station for train ticket. The journey from Bristol Temple Meads to Bath Spa railway station is approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

London's Heathrow Airport is 100 miles east of Bath.
Bus: A National Express coach service operates from the Heathrow Airport Central Bus Station to the centre of Bath with a travelling time of up to 180 minutes. Tickets can be pre-booked online.
Train: The Heathrow Express train service operates from Heathrow Airport to London's Paddington Station every 15 minutes, with a journey time of just 15 minutes. From Paddington Station, you can take a train to Bath Spa. It is recommended that you book train journeys well in advance, as there is a considerable difference in price if you wait until the day of travel.
